I’ve been so preoccupied with my web comic,
I nearly forgot to make a post here!
But don’t worry, here I am posting a post here where I normally make posts. *cough* Anyway, on with the show. There’s not much I have to talk about, so instead of coming up with some witty title for today’s post, it’s merely just summary of what I will be blabbing on about. So let’s start at the end.
I’ve been reading Dan Brown’s latest book: The Lost Symbol. It’s a sequel to Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code in the sense that its the same main character, Robert Langdon. Apparently every other character he meets in the other books seem to fall off the face of the earth because they never get a single mention (despite the fact we get reminded of what happened in the previous books every second page!). Ehm, but yeah, it’s actually quite a good book, if not incredibly annoying. You see, the whole book takes place within a few hours, but there’s about 500 odd pages, so it takes forever for anything to actually happen in the book (I swear there was about 4 chapters of just him walking down a long corridor.). But when stuff does happen, its awesome and really interesting. I’m only half way through the book, so I’ll talk about it more when I’m done.
Now as most of you know my web comic, The Legend of Dave, is now up and running for a week. The first four episodes are up and number five comes out tomorrow. After that, its weekly updates every Monday! The reason I wanted to put 5 episodes up straight away, is so that people have something to read when they come visit. Anyway, I’m really excited about the comic, and the feedback I’ve been getting is all positive so Woo Hoo!
And lastly, I’ve been watching more of Castle, a lot more. Last week I mentioned that I watched the first episode of a tv show called Castle, starring Nathan Fillion. Well, I watched a few more episodes and fell in love with the show, or more correctly, Nathan Fillion. The show is actually really good, and presents the murder cases in interesting ways, but really its Nathan Fillion that keeps me watching. I mean the guy is just a great actor! I’ve watched all of the first season and I’m catching up on whats already aired of season 2. Most of you probably haven’t heard of this tv show so all I can say is “GO Watch IT!”
But lets face, you all came here for one thing:
